[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxr40_lpzrE]SilencerCo just released this footage showing how easy it is to run their Salvo 12 shotgun suppressor on a Saiga 12 AK-pattern shotgun using a screw-on, external threaded adapter. I had a chance to shoot this setup a couple of weeks ago. The Salvo dropped the decibels to an entirely tolerable level (I was shooting indoors), and made the shotgun session a hell of a lot more fun for a guy that hates shooting shotguns. This is, as the politburo says, a most blessed union of can and gun.

Utilizing existing choke tube threading, the Salvo 12 was introduced by SilencerCo in 2014 as the first, commercially-viable shotgun suppressor. It attaches to virtually any shotgun that will accept interchangeable choke tubes and successfully lowers the muzzle report to below hearing-safe levels.
