Army Cpl. William T. Warford III
24, of Temple, Texas; assigned to the 215th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died Sept. 5 in Balad, Iraq, of wounds sustained from an improvised explosive device. Also killed was Pfc. Dane R. Balcon.
