30, of Clarksville, Tenn.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, N.C.; killed Aug. 11 while conducting training operations at Forward Operating Base Ripley in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan.
