39, of Jonesboro, Ga.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Bragg, N.C.; died on July 13 of wounds sustained when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Kajaki Sofla, Afghanistan.
