24, of Mesquite, Tex.; assigned to Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, at Ft. Polk, La.; died Nov. 27 in Sayyidabad, Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with a rocket-propelled grenade.
