Died May 22, 2011 Serving During Operation New Dawn
37, of Medical Lake, Wash.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.; died May 22 in Baghdad of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. Also killed was Pfc. Ramon Mora Jr.
