Died December 11, 2011 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
24, of New Cuyama, Calif.; assigned to 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; died Dec. 11 in Khas Kunar district, Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device. Also killed was Spc. Ronald H. Wildrick Jr.
