23, of Urbana, Mo.; assigned to the 2d Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.; died Jan. 29 in Baghdad of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his dismounted patrol.
