27, of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died Oct. 30 from injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle in Baghdad.
