Died August 31, 2011 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
21, of Deltona, Fla.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Polk, La.; died Aug. 31 at FOB Shank, Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
