21, of Woodlake, Calif.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany; died July 15 of injuries sustained when his dismounted patrol encountered enemy small-arms fire and an improvised explosive device in Baghdad.
