Died August 16, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
23, of Sharpsburg, Ga.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 108th Armor Regiment, 48th Brigade Combat Team, Georgia Army National Guard, Griffin Ga.; killed Aug. 16 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his dismounted patrol in Baghdad.
