28, of Lubbock, Texas; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany; killed Sept. 26 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq.
