Died March 19, 2011 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
33, of Fort Hood, Texas, assigned to 6th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Knox, Ky.; died March 19 in the Shamul district of Khost province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device and small-arms fire.
