24, of Greeneville, Tenn.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.; died Jan. 28 in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
