21, of Monrovia, Calif.; assigned to 2nd Maintenance Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; killed Jan. 7 when his vehicle was attacked with an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations near Karmah, Iraq.
