21, of Kingsport, Tenn.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 67th Armored Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died of injuries sustained May 1 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his M1A2 Abrams tank during combat operations in Baghdad.
