Died October 7, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
37, of Humboldt, Kan.; assigned to 891st Engineer Battalion, Garnett, Kan.; died Oct. 7 from injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations in Baghdad. Also killed was Staff Sgt. Lawrence L. Parrish.
