35, of Omaha, Neb.; assigned to the 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died Nov. 30 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during reconnaissance operations in Taji, Iraq.
