Died March 7, 2007 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
28, of Independence, Mo.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died March 7 in Baghdad when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations. Also killed were Staff Sgt. Christopher R. Webb and Spc. Michael D. Rivera.
