Died October 17, 2009 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
23, of Moreno Valley, Calif.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.; died Oct. 17 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an IED.
