27, of Karthaus, Pa.; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.; killed May 12 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle in Samarra, Iraq.
