Army Staff Sgt. Daniel R. Scheile
Died September 24, 2005 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom37, of Antioch, Calif.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 184th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, California Army National Guard, Oakdale, Calif.; died Sept. 24 of injuries sustained Sept. 23 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his M113 armored personnel carrier and enemy forces attacked with small-arms fire in Baghdad.
