31, of New Orleans; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Ga.; killed Oct. 1 when his forward operating base was attacked by enemy forces using indirect fire in Ramadi, Iraq.
