28, of Galesburg, Ill.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 123rd Field Artillery, Illinois Army National Guard, Macomb, Ill.; killed Nov. 3 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during patrol operations in Ashraf, Iraq.
