20, of Chula Vista, Calif.; assigned to Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; killed April 13 due to enemy action in Anbar Province, Iraq. Also killed was Lance Cpl. Stephen J. Perez.
