Army Master Sgt. Thomas D. Maholic
Died June 24, 2006 serving during Operation Enduring Freedom38, of Bradford, Pa.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, N.C.; killed June 24 when his patrol unit came in contact with enemy forces using small-arms fire during a cordon and search mission in Ghecko, Afghanistan.
