Died September 6, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
18, of Jackson, Mo.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; died Sept. 6 in Balad, Iraq, of injuries sustained when he encountered enemy forces using small-arms fire during a dismounted security patrol in Balad, Iraq.
