Army Sgt. Aaron A. Smith
Died September 14, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
31, of Killeen, Texas; assigned to 4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Baumholder, Germany; died Sept. 14 of injuries sustained when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated in the vicinity of a West Baghdad Substation where he was located. Also killed were Sgt. Jennifer M. Hartman and Cpl. Marcus A. Cain.
