Died October 08, 2006 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom20, of Chinook, Mont.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii; died Oct. 8 from wounds sustained while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Asad, Iraq. Also killed were Lance Cpl. Derek W. Jones and Capt. Robert M. Secher.
