Died October 13, 2006 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom22, of Temple, Texas; assigned to 1st Squadron, 89th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.; died Oct. 13 at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C., from injuries sustained during a Sept. 26 incident in Baghdad, during which an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
