Died November 18, 2006 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom22, of Stanwood, Mich.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry Regiment (Mechanized), Big Rapids, Mich.; died Nov. 18 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations in Baghdad.
