Died December 07, 2006 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom

27, of Redding, Calif.; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 509th Infantry Regiment (Airborne), 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska; died Dec. 7 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit while on patrol during combat operations in Baghdad. Also killed was Staff Sgt. Henry W. Linck.
