Died March 14, 2007 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom24, of The Woodlands, Texas; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died March 18 in Landstuhl, Germany, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit while on combat patrol March 15 in Baghdad.
