Army Pfc. Walter Freeman Jr.
Died April 04, 2007 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom20, of Lancaster, Calif.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died April 4 in Baghdad when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations. Also killed was Pfc. Derek A. Gibson.
