Marine Lance Cpl. Jeremy L. Tinnel
Died July 1, 2007 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
20, of Mechanicsville, Va.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died July 1 in a non-hostile boat accident in Albu Hyatt just off the shore of Anbar province. Also killed was Lance Cpl. William C. Chambers. The accident is under investigation.
