Died October 14, 2007 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom22, of West Springfield, Mass.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died Oct. 14 in Baghdad of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations.
