Died July 08, 2008 serving during Operation Enduring Freedom29, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; assigned to the Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; died July 8 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained in Chow Kay Valley, Afghanistan, when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device during a mounted patrol.
