Died July 06, 2009 serving during Operation Enduring Freedom24, of Columbus, Ga.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 108th Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition Squadron, Georgia National Guard, Rome, Ga.; died July 6 in Khanabad, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
