Died July 11, 2009 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
27, of Glendale, Calif.; assigned to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died July 11 while supporting combat operations in Khan Neshin, Afghanistan. Also killed was Master Sgt. Jerome D. Hatfield.
