Marine Lance Cpl. Javier Olvera
Died August 08, 2009 serving during Operation Enduring Freedom20, of Palmdale, Calif.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died Aug. 8 in Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, while supporting combat operations. Also killed were Lance Cpl. Dennis J. Burrow and Lance Cpl. Patrick W. Schimmel.
