Died May 17, 2005 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom19, of Baytown, Texas; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3d Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.; died May 17 of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his dismounted position in Tikrit, Iraq.
