Died May 19, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom
26, of Pinckneyville, Ill.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 70th Armor, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Fort Riley, Kan.; killed May 19 on an escort mission in a Humvee when an improvised explosive device detonated on a bridge in Mahmudiyah, Iraq.
