Two nuke machinist's mates from the carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower are accused of breaking into a bank branch in downtown Norfolk in the wee hours of Tuesday morning and passing out there, but not before one of them left their mark. one of them took a dump on the floor.

Norfolk Police responded to a burglary at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday to find Machinist's Mates 3rd Class Alex Ronne, 22, and Samuel Bland, 23, asleep inside the Heritage Bank at 150 Granby Street. Police confirmed that at least one of the suspects treated the bank's floor like a bathroom. fecesal matter from at least one of the suspects was found on the floor.

Police deduce alcohol may have been was a factor in the incident.

Bland and Ronne were charged with commercial burglary and felony vandalism, class 3 and 6 felonies respectively, crimes that together could carrymean up to 25 years in prison.

Ronne and Bland have been released back to the Navy and are back on board the Eisenhower, a Naval Air Force Atlantic spokesman confirmed.

Both Bland and Ronne both checked on Eisenhower in the spring, from nuclear Nuclear power training in Charleston, South Carolina. Both joined within a month of each other at the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014.
