Want some Saturday Costco shopping time before the crowds hit?

Active-duty service members, military retirees and other veterans are invited to shop at your local participating Costco on March 24 an hour before the doors open to other customers.

Costco’s “Military Hour” starts at 8 a.m. The first 100 people who attend the event at one of the 117 participating warehouses across the U.S. will get bags of goodies, according to Costco.

To attend the event, you’ll need to produce a military ID or show your registration confirmation at the door.

There will be free samples, product demonstrations and snacks. But you’ll have to be a Costco member if you want to buy anything.

You’ll be verified through Costco’s partnership with Troop ID, which confirms your military or veteran status through military service records, a dot-mil email address, or by uploading military documentation.
