Our Jon R. Anderson was following up a lead when he heard about this technique that's been shown to build strength and endurance in a whole new way.

Kaatsu has been tried at U.S. Special Operations Command and at the U.S. Ski Team's headquarters in Park City, Utah.

Jon interviewed six-time Olympic medalist Bode Miller about his experience using Kaatsu while recovering from back surgery along with an Army physician-turned-Ohio University fitness researcher who used Kaatsu for two weeks, then planned a two-year study.
