Items recommended for removal from upcoming issues by the latest Joint Services Operational Rations Forum:

■ Spicy penne pasta

■ Ratatouille

■ Ground red pepper

■ Some variants of candy, including the chocolate toffee cube, caramel hard candy and caffeinated mints
