Belleville Boot Company is one of four footwear companies that provided tropical boot prototypes to the Marine Corps and Army for testing. The waterproof boot is made of breathable nylon and flesh-out leather on rubber VIBRAM Panama II outsoles. Belleville Boot Company’s design features drainage perforations and triple-stitched seams. Marines in Japan will test the boot this summer. This boot by Belleville Boot Company is highly cushioned and includes removable inserts. The company calls it a modern version of the Vietnam-era jungle boot.
