If you're signing up under open registration, be ready to act fast: Last year, the race sold out in two hours and 41 minutes. If you're lucky and quick, you'll be among the 30,000 runners toeing the line in Arlington, Va., on Oct. 27.
And heads up active-duty runners, the window for advance, discounted registration for active-duty service members closes at midnight on Sunday, March 24. Register before then and you'll pay $84.15 thanks to a 15 percent discount from sponsor GEICO. Details here.
