Solders from alpha company, 3rd battalion, 47th infantry regiment, 192nd infantry brigade graduate from basic training on May 7, 2009 inside the new National Museum of the Infantry at Fort Benning, GA. These soldiers from 2nd platoon smile and mug for cameras after the ceremony. One of the songs played as the soldiers entered the hall was the the main theme to "Last of the Mohicans". That song seemed extremely fitting for these new soldiers who one day might be out on the battlefield.
